Rental Terms & Conditions - QHQ Car & Limo
As of January 1st 2026
Agreement Period
- We do not offer short-term rentals. The minimum rental period is 3 months.
- If you want to rent a car for a shorter period, please contact us to explore your options. short time will be mentioned in the agreement.
- QHQ Car & Limo reserves the right to change or update the terms and conditions at any time during the rental period. Any changes will be informed to the driver by QHQ Car & Limo.
Dash Cam Policy
- The driver must install the dashcam within two (2) days of receiving the vehicle for rent. If this requirement is not met, QHQ Car & Limo may take back the vehicle without prior notice.
Vehicle Condition
- You must return the vehicle in the same condition as when you received it. If the car comes back with new damage, you are responsible for paying the repair costs.
Rental Payment
- You must pay the weekly rental fee one week in advance.The company may increase or decrease the rent and deposit with prior notice.
- Your payment day will be written in the agreement. If you miss a payment, the vehicle will automatically lock. To unlock it, you must pay a $50 unlocking fee plus any unpaid rent.
Security Deposit
- A security deposit is required before you take the vehicle. The amount depends on the vehicle model and condition. The deposit will be held for four (4) weeks after the vehicle is returned.
- The deposit will be refunded only if there are no pending tickets or E-ZPass bills and if you give at least two (2) weeks' notice before returning the vehicle.
Vehicle Return
- You must return the vehicle to the same location where you picked it up. If you do not give a proper 2-week notice before returning the car, your deposit will not be refunded.
Late Payments
- If you do not pay on time, the vehicle will automatically lock and cannot be driven until the full balance is paid.
- You must pay a $50 unlocking fee plus any unpaid rental balance before the vehicle can be used again.
Notice of Termination
- You must give at least 14 days' written notice if you want to end the agreement.
- If you return the vehicle without proper notice, your security deposit will not be refunded.
Unauthorized Drivers
- Only the registered driver is allowed to drive the vehicle.
- If someone else drives the vehicle, you will be fully responsible for any damage or legal issues.
Communication Policy
- You must respond to calls or messages from QHQ Car & Limo within 24 hours.
- If you fail to respond, the agreement may be canceled and the vehicle may be towed.
Maintenance Responsibilities
- If you lose the car keys, you must pay the full replacement cost charged by the dealer.
- You are responsible for repairing or replacing any damaged or worn-out tires during the rental period.
- If the tire tread becomes unsafe, QHQ Car & Limo will replace the tires to keep the vehicle safe.
- If the vehicle stays in a repair garage for more than 8 hours due to needed repairs, that day’s rental fee will be waived.
- You must get permission from QHQ Car & Limo before driving the vehicle outside the five boroughs of NYC without a passenger.
Accidents & Repairs
- You are responsible for all accidents or incidents involving the vehicle during your rental period.
- If insurance does not cover the damage, you must pay for or arrange the repairs yourself.
- You are responsible for repair costs from any collision with bicycles or motorbikes, even if it is not your fault.
- You are responsible for physical damage to the vehicle up to a maximum of $2,000 (for cars up to 2019) or $5,000 (for cars newer than 2019) per incident.
Tickets, E-ZPass & Violations
- You are responsible for all traffic, parking, and TLC violations during the rental period.
- You must pay all fines within the time given once QHQ Car & Limo notifies you.
- If you do not pay on time, the vehicle may be locked and you will be charged a $10 late fee for each violation.
- If you use the owner’s E-ZPass instead of your own, a $2 processing fee will be charged for each transaction.
- If you do not pay these fees on time, the vehicle may be locked. To unlock it, you must pay the $50 unlocking fee plus any unpaid E-ZPass fees.
Repair Cost Policy
- If you replace vehicle lights, you can receive up to a $10 credit when you provide the receipt.
- If you change the vehicle oil, you can receive up to a $40 credit when you provide the receipt.
- No other repair or replacement costs will be covered by QHQ Car & Limo.
- It is strongly recommended that you use QHQ Car & Limo’s authorized garage for any repairs or maintenance.
Green Cab Drivers Policy
- Green Cab drivers are not allowed to accept cash from passengers.
- If a Green Cab driver accepts cash, QHQ Car & Limo is not responsible for any penalties or issues caused.
Breach of Agreement
- QHQ Car & Limo may cancel this agreement at any time if you break any of the terms.
Acknowledgment:
By signing the paper agreement provided by QHQ Car & Limo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow all the above terms and conditions.
