Rental Terms & Conditions - QHQ Car & Limo

Vehicle Condition
- The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental, with no additional visible or major damage, starting from the time the driver takes the vehicle.
Rental Payment
- The Driver must make weekly rental payments one week in advance.
- The specific weekly payment day will be mentioned in the rental agreement.
Security Deposit
- A security deposit is required and will be held for four (4) weeks after the vehicle is returned.
- The deposit will be refunded if there are no tickets or E-ZPass bills outstanding and the driver has provided at least two (2) weeks' notice before returning the vehicle.
Vehicle Return
- The Driver is responsible for returning the vehicle to the agreed location where it was originally picked up, at their own cost.
Late Payments
- If the Driver fails to make payment on time, the vehicle will be automatically locked and rendered inoperable until full payment is made.
- The Driver must pay a $50 unlocking fee in addition to any outstanding rent balance before the vehicle can be reactivated.
Breach of Agreement
- The Lessor (QHQ Car & Limo) reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time if the Driver violates any of its terms.
Notice of Termination
- The Driver must provide a minimum of 14 days' written notice to terminate this agreement.
- If the vehicle is returned without proper notice, the security deposit will be forfeited.
Unauthorized Drivers
- Only the registered driver is permitted to operate the vehicle.
- If any unauthorized driver operates the vehicle, the registered driver will be held fully liable for all resulting damages.
Communication Policy
- The Driver must respond to any calls or text messages from QHQ Car & Limo within 24 hours.
- Failure to respond will result in automatic cancellation of the agreement, and the vehicle may be repossessed.
Maintenance Responsibilities
- In the event the vehicle keys are lost, the Driver shall be responsible for the full replacement cost at the dealer's current rate.
- The Driver is solely responsible for repairing or replacing any tires damaged due to leaks, bubbles, blowouts, punctures, or other forms of wear or damage during the rental period.
- If tire tread or grip becomes worn out or unsafe, the Owner shall replace the tires to ensure the vehicle's continued safe operation.
- If the vehicle remains in a repair facility or garage for more than eight (8) consecutive hours due to necessary repairs, the rental charge for that day shall be waived.
- The Driver must obtain prior authorization from QHQ Car & Limo before operating the vehicle outside the five boroughs of New York City without a passenger.
Accidents & Repairs
- The Driver is fully responsible for all accidents or incidents involving the vehicle during the rental period.
- If damages are not covered by a third-party or other insurance, the Driver must pay for or arrange vehicle repairs at their own expense.
- The Driver is responsible for all repair costs resulting from any collisions with bicycles or motorbikes, regardless of fault.
- The Driver shall be liable for physical damage to the vehicle up to a maximum of $2,000 per accident or incident.
Tickets, E-ZPass & Violations
- The Driver is fully responsible for all traffic, parking, and TLC violations incurred during the rental period.
- Upon receiving notice from QHQ Car & Limo, the Driver must pay all associated fines within the timeframe specified.
- Failure to make timely payment may result in the vehicle being remotely locked, and the Driver will incur a $10 administrative fee for each late payment.
- If the Driver does not use their personal E-ZPass and instead uses the Owner's E-ZPass, a $5 processing fee will be charged for each transaction.
- Failure to settle these fees within the specified timeframe may result in the vehicle being remotely locked until payment is made.
Repair Cost Policy
- If any driver changes vehicle lights, QHQ Car & Limo will provide a maximum $10 credit upon submission of a valid bill copy.
- If the driver changes vehicle oil, a maximum $40 credit will be provided upon submission of the bill copy.
- No other repairs or replacements will be covered by QHQ Car & Limo.
- It is strongly recommended that any vehicle repairs or maintenance be performed only at QHQ Car & Limo's authorized garage.
Green Cab Drivers Policy
- Green Cab drivers are strictly prohibited from accepting cash payments from passengers.
- If a Green Cab driver accepts cash, QHQ Car & Limo will not be held responsible for any violations or consequences that may result.
Acknowledgment:
By signing the agreement in paper given by the authorized personal from QHQ CAR & LIMO, the Driver acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the above terms and conditions set forth by QHQ Car & Limo.
